Detail
Tomra is an expert in the development and production of sorting machines. The company sorts out various things - from chilli peppers to diamonds. The whole process is sophisticated, clean and quiet. Only some white noise and digital sound can be heard. The process had to be visible from the white-collar offices as well. The two-storey administrative segment is therefore opened towards production at several places. The entrance hall made of a glass wall from a material called Copilit displays the production process only in silhouette, but a longitudinal gallery at the first floor makes it present at first sight. The meeting rooms are positioned similarly to face towards the desks of managers, so from there both the working arms of equipment and personnel can be watched. Corporate equivalence. All employees are important parts of the whole. The interior works with the symbolism of the four colours, materializing four production sectors of the company - minerals, food, recycled materials and special products. Separated material is directly on-site - the glazed product walls with coffee beans, granules from PET bottles or tobacco leaves act not only as creative elements but also as a means to approach the corporate identity.
