This and that about family houses
1. May 2024
Alexy, Pokorný and Nagy are among the authors with many experiences, which they tried to analyze from several points of view in a discussion with the editor-in-chief of Projekt magazine Andrea Bacová. The debate about the architect-client relationship, about its transformations, surprises and vicissitudes took up the largest scope. What expectations do clients come with and how can an architect work diplomatically with them? How to explain to clients the limits of inspiration on the Internet or social networks? How to deal with the increasing influence of artificial intelligence also in the field of creating family houses? Or to what extent to enable the client to enter into the design processes?
Andrej Alexy said, for example, also like this:
"I think you have to be open. Feedback is important and I'm not against it. I don't resist it even during construction. The project matures gradually and by reaching the next stages, many opinions come that can be interesting. Each person in this chain can bring something new. Some clients would like to have everything solved in detail in the study. But I think it is unnecessary. After all, the project must mature like wine."
