Fair-faced concrete is our ideal, but there are projects where its visual sensitivity to rain would not meet with indulgence. The smaller Bratislava development Koliba Gardens, whose business model was predestined for luxury housing, had to convince not only with its spatial and material solution, but also with its operational durability. However, exposed concrete is sensitive and in our region we are not exactly tolerant of its rain spots. Therefore, a much more durable alternative - sanded structured plaster - was used on the facades. Its application and the overall composition of the facades were recognized by the jury of the Baumit Facade of the Year award with a win in the category Creative structures and design. https://baumit.sk/fasada-roka
